Zero Day Season 1: George Mullen was a highly respected elder statesman who served as president. He resigned upon the death of his son. The current president Evelyn Mitchell, requests Mullen to lead the investigative committee. He is forced to accept, even though it will put him in hot water. After the cyberattack killed thousands and terrified millions, Chairwoman Evelyn Mitchell teamed up with the Leader of the House to establish an impartial investigation committee. The Constitution is completely ignored as Mullen is granted almost unlimited power to carry out his inquiry.
