I was surprised to see how much more vulnerable Sofia is. In her fantasies, she was biting her neck and sleeping in her wardrobe rather than her real bedroom. That does not indicate that somebody is mentally well. Undoubtedly, there has been some trauma there. It is not fair to say that she was cleared of the seven murders she was charged with. She is obviously aware that she is also undesired. It goes beyond simply having protestors yell at her at her brother’s burial. Or being excluded from family decisions like in The Godfather.
