Storyline:
Caught Stealing is a thriller set in New York City in 1998. The primary character is Hank Thompson. He once played baseball. His career has ended & he now works as a bartender. Life seems slow and lonely. One day, his neighbor asks him for a small favor. Hank only has to take care of a cat. It sounds safe, but it is not. The cat becomes the start of something dangerous. Soon Hank is hunted by criminals. Gangsters, detectives, and violent men appear around him. At first, he feels lost and confused. Later, he sees that criminals have pulled him into a dangerous world. Because of this, each step brings more problems. Also, every choice pushes him into deeper trouble. Therefore, he must fight to survive. The movie is filled with suspense, action & dark humor. It shows how a normal man can suddenly face brutal danger. The city feels real and gritty. The fear never stops. Austin Butler gives a strong performance as Hank. Zoë Kravitz and Regina King add power to the story. Darren Aronofsky’s direction makes the film sharp and tense. Viewers who enjoy crime stories will want to watch it.
